A study conducted by The McCormick Group has revealed that there were 25 lateral moves in the Labor & Employment area in Texas during August and September. There were five partner moves, with another five moves at the counsel level. These totals include four attorneys who primarily focus on Immigration Law.
There were no group moves in August or September. However, several firms added multiple lawyers. Those were:
- Jackson Lewis (one partner, four associates)
- Ogletree (one partner, three counsel, one associate)
- Haynes and Boone (two partners)
- Littler Mendelson (two associates)
- Kaufman Dolowich (two attorneys)
Dallas was the most active market, with 12 moves. There were eight moves in Houston, three in Austin, one in San Antonio, and one in Fort Worth.
