Legal and Government Affairs Managing Principal Steve Nelson spoke to Law360 about the possible merger between international law firm Norton Rose Fulbright and New York-based Chadbourne & Parke LLP. The merger talks, which were confirmed last Thursday, could result in a combined firm which would benefit the partnerships of both firms.

“According to Stephen Nelson of The McCormick Group, Chadbourne has been struggling from a lack of diversity in its practices — with strengths in project finance, tax and litigation but not a wide array of offerings for clients. And Norton Rose Fulbright, he said, has an ‘excellent international brand’ and strong practices in a number of areas.”
