Paul specializes in searches for executives for companies in a wide range of industries. With a diverse professional background and a deep involvement in the community, he offers clients a wealth of business experience and access to his extensive network of contacts in the Washington metropolitan area. He establishes long-lasting relationships with both clients and candidates and often serves as a trusted business advisor.

Paul is an expert in conducting search assignments in a variety of practice areas: legal, sales and marketing, information technology, government contracting, finance, real estate, construction, not-for-profits and associations. In addition, he has consulted on the mergers of numerous professional service companies.

Paul joined The McCormick Group in 1994 after a career as an executive in the communications, banking, and real estate industries. Throughout his professional life, he has been deeply involved in the community. His current and past activities include: Chairman, Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind; Chairman, Goodwill of Greater Washington; Executive Committee of the Rosslyn Business Improvement District (RBID); Chair of the RBID Urban Design Committee; Co-Chairman of “TechMatch,” a national workforce recruitment and marketing campaign for the Greater Washington Board of Trade; Vice Chairman, United Negro College Fund; and member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Washington Board of Trade, Leadership Greater Washington, Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, D.C. Chamber of Commerce, and Big Brothers of Washington.

Originally from Detroit, MI, Paul received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and attended Detroit College of Law.
