The McCormick Group Celebrates 35 Years
After setting the company record for revenues, The McCormick Group has reached yet another milestone by celebrating its 35th Anniversary in 2009.
While this year’s recession has had a significant effect on the marketplace, TMG’s 35 years has proven invaluable in coping with the challenges faced by its clients. The company was conceived in 1974, in the midst of one of the century’s worst economic times and has since thrived throughout several economic downturns. With every downturn, TMG has learned that good business practices, ethical behavior and high quality candidates are appreciated and rewarded. We make it our absolute priority to strengthen our clients by advising them on their human-capital needs in order to give them the best chance of not only surviving, but thriving in the marketplace. When our clients succeed, so does The McCormick Group.
Bill McCormick believes the reason for 35 years of success is TMG’s methodology as executed by the employees. “Our process is simple, but timeless. No matter how much the world has changed, companies will always need the best people on the job, and we will always help them,” Bill said. “I also take pride in knowing that our people are among the best consultants in the industry. Each one of them believes in our mission and our process, and because of this, we will continue to thrive.” |

Jim advises Hill staffers to make a move before the next election cycle, but also warns associations to not get “too enamored by the office they came out of because that doesn’t mean they can lobby.” Jim goes on to say that the top candidates will be those that can “craft legislative language” and make recommendations on how to vote. |
