William J. McCormick, Founder and CEO of The McCormick Group, Inc., has been involved in more than 5,000 searches for executives and technical candidates in nearly every market specialty during his 33 years of executive search. He is considered an expert in establishing industry sources, determining candidate motivations, defining effective interviewing processes and negotiating compensation. Mr. McCormick personally handles client assignments and provides consulting advice for The McCormick Group clients in the areas of marketing, personnel, compensation and ownership transition.

Prior to establishing The McCormick Group in 1974, Mr. McCormick managed the Washington D.C. office of Lulejian & Associates, a firm specializing in systems analysis and strategic planning and worked as a management consultant for KPMG. He began his career as a Systems Analyst at the U.S. Air Force Systems Command. He provided systems analysis for US Air Force systems in support of their development and application.

Mr. McCormick has a M.S. in Computer Science from George Washington University, and a B.S. in Mathematics from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
