Dave Phillips is a Consultant in the Finance and Operations Practice of The McCormick Group. He specializes in placing senior executives across a variety of industries including: private banking, venture capital, credit and financial services.

Prior to joining The McCormick Group, Dave spent 25 years in the banking and finance industry. He has held positions in both small and large financial institutions ranging from traditional, local banks to corporate giants such as Sallie Mae. This has provided Dave a unique perspective in the financial market, as well as a large and varied network of contacts in finance.

Dave also spent three years as a Business Development Officer in consulting for small to mid-size companies in the $1 - $100 million range. He met exclusively with the CEO, CFO and owners of each company and worked with them to resolve profitability issues.

Additionally, Dave is Chairman of the Board of Assessors for the town of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts with responsibility for oversight of the budget and management of the department. He was also appointed by Governor Romney in 2006 to serve a 5-year term as a Trustee of Massasoit Community College in Brockton and Canton, Massachusetts.

Dave holds a B.A. from Amherst College and an Associates degree from Massasoit Community College. He resides in East Bridgewater with his wife Diane and their three children.
