Claudia M. Ellison is a Consultant with The McCormick Group specializing in health care and life sciences. Claudia has more than 20 years in the health care industry. Before joining The McCormick Group, Claudia served as a program director at eHealth Initiative, a national non-profit organization focusing on advocacy and policy for health information exchange initiatives. Previously, Claudia served in a variety of roles for the Texas Health Institute in Austin. She coordinated a health workforce and health information technology workgroup as part of a quality and safety improvement initiative in Texas, developed a curriculum for Leadership in Public Health Preparedness to present to public health managers in Texas, and developed a guidebook highlighting emergency response preparations for Texas hospitals.

Claudia also has a background in the publishing industry, having served as Associate Publisher of Washington Techway (a Washington Post-affiliated publication) and IT Recruiter magazine, where she established and managed national accounts and coordinated promotional events.

Claudia has a Masters Degree in Health Education from the University of Virginia.
