Grant specializes in placing executives in the professional services area with an emphasis on finance, operations, consulting, and strategy. With over 20 years of experience in the human resource and search business, he offers clients a wealth of knowledge about attracting and retaining talented professionals. He is recognized by both clients and colleagues for his communication skills and his ability to gather valuable information that facilitates a smooth, productive search process.

In addition to coordinating the work of those who perform searches in the professional services area, Grant develops new business, fosters client relationships, and qualifies candidates. He conducts searches for positions in finance, investments, consulting, purchasing, strategy, and business development. He works primarily with financial services companies, investment banks, and economic consulting firms of all sizes. Representative engagements include: senior vice presidents of international business development, vice presidents of consulting, and directors of compliance.

Grant joined The McCormick Group after two decades in human resources and recruiting. He held positions in management with American Express, First USA Bank, Unisys, and Friedman Billings Ramsey. He achieved a career highlight as Director of Human Resources for American Express when he helped open a new facility that grew the company’s operation center, assets, and accounts. Over his career, Grant also served as a consultant to the human resource and outplacement industry and gained executive search experience with Dinte Resources and Willmott Associates.

Grant received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Siena College and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Widener University. He serves on the Recruiting Advisory Board of the Kogod Business School at American University. An avid bass fisherman, Grant lives in Leesburg, VA, with his wife Kathy, and is originally from Sparta, NJ.
